Is the workspace really in beta?
Yes — open beta as of May 2026. All features listed here are shipped and live, but expect rapid iteration: new SOPs, more chart types in reports, marketplace listing for top analysts. Bug reports go to [email protected].
Do you store my Anthropic or OpenAI API key?
No. Your key is sealed in an AES-GCM-encrypted httpOnly cookie that expires in 24 hours. It is never written to a database. You re-enter it once a day, the same way Claude.ai handles it. Zero retention — full stop.
How is this different from connecting Valuein MCP to Claude Desktop?
Same MCP server. Same auth. Same 57 tools. The workspace is the alternative when you don't want to leave the browser or wire up Claude Desktop — it ships chat, theses, reports, alerts, and a daily brief on top. Use MCP from your own agent or use ours. Or both.
Are my theses and reports public by default?
No. Default is private. Each thesis and report has a visibility flag: private (only you), unlisted (anyone with the link), public (indexed by search engines and AI agents at /your-handle/...).
Which tier do I need?
The free S&P500 tier (just register, no card) unlocks the workspace scoped to S&P500 companies — create theses, alerts, reports, and run the full BYO-LLM chat. Pro ($49/mo) and Institutional ($499/mo) widen scope to the full 18,000-entity universe with 30-year history, public profile + reputation scoring, and (Institutional) commercial redistribution of reports. The Sample tier (no signup) is read-only — it can browse public profiles and shared reports but not create them.
